Log Cabin Garages

Plenty of them around, again a log cabins flexibility helps to make you garage interchangeable between a garage, workroom and even into an extra bedroom!

The fire regulations (local authority issue) have to be of primary concern and steps should be taken to prevent the initiation of fire, the spread of fire and human protection from fire.

I recommend the flowing specification on top of a normal log cabin:
  1.  Ceiling to be two layered plasterboard (12.5mm) with, at least, one of the layers being a type fire board.
  2. Walls to be lined with plywood board and then double tacked again. The plywood offers fixing points for any hanging units.
  3. A fire extinguisher to be inside the garage at all times.
